🌿 Park Farms Neighborhood Association Clean Up Day 🌿

Join us as we come together to help beautify our community during our very first neighborhood clean-up event sponsored by the Park Farms Neighborhood Association!

📅 Date: Saturday, May 9
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Meeting Location: 7601 E. Gregory Blvd.
(Currently a vacant lot on the south side of the boulevard)

Volunteers will break into groups to clean both the north and south sides of E. Gregory Blvd. from Eastern Ave. to James A. Reed Rd.

We are excited to share that we have secured tools and additional supplies from Bridging The Gap. Additional supplies, including gloves and safety vests, will also be available.

🥤 A special thank you to one of our residents for providing water and Gatorade for volunteers, and the association will provide donuts for everyone participating.

⚠️ Safety Reminder:
Please use caution while navigating the north side of Gregory Blvd., as portions of the area do not currently have sidewalks.

This is the first of many community clean-up events, and we are excited to continue building pride, partnership, and beautification throughout Park Farms. We hope to see you there!

The Park Farms Community Yard Sale on October 11 was a tremendous success, bringing neighbors together on a beautiful sunny day with temperatures reaching 80 degrees. Approximately 15 dedicated volunteers helped organize the event, attracting 20-25 community members who browsed, purchased items, or donated.

The sale featured diverse goods, including clothing, collectible art pieces, handbags, jewelry, and small appliances. Volunteers served hot dogs, chips, and cookies, adding a festive atmosphere to the gathering.

Beyond the successful sale, the day's true highlight was the sense of community it fostered. Residents came out to meet their neighbors —many for the first time —and engaged in warm conversations throughout the event. The yard sale was more than just a shopping opportunity—it was a chance for the Park Farms community to connect and strengthen neighborhood bonds on a perfect autumn day.
